About Lisa
In 2003, Lisa earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. She completed a Graduate Program at Columbia University in New York, NY, earning a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work in 2004. While in school, she interned at pediatric clinics and school programs in both Bridgeport, CT and in Westchester, NY.
Lisa accepted a position at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Westchester Division in 2004. She worked on an adult general psychiatric unit for 3 years until moving to the Child and Adolescent Department where she remained until 2014. During that time, she was a clinician in both the Elementary and High School Therapeutic Day Programs and ultimately an individual and group therapist in the Child Outpatient Department at NYP. Lisa has focused on working with children and adolescents, specializing in the areas of anxiety and trauma. She facilitated Children of Divorce and Social Skills groups for pre-school and school age children and worked with many children, adolescents, and families as an individual provider. Lisa was a part of the Child and Adult Anxiety Clinic, Children of Divorce Program, Social Skills Program, and the Evaluation Team for children and families first seeking help and guidance.
In 2014 Lisa relocated to the State of Connecticut, where she worked as a Primary Clinician at Yale New Haven Psychiatric Hospital.
